Japan 1 SKorea 1

The first semifinal match of the AFC Asian Cup kicked off at the Al Gharafa Stadium between familiar foes Japan and South Korea.
Japan taking the intiatives with the first two corners and Hasebe pulling the strings from the midfield area.
Okazaki's header in the 9th minute is the closest so far but it went wide for a goal-kick for South Korea.
Sung Yung scores for South Korea from the penalty spot after JS Park was impeded upon in the 23rd minute.
Japan dominating proceedings with a perfect header from Honda in the 26th minute but well postioned Jung Sungryong picks the ball comfortably.
Maeda Ryoichi draws level for the Blue Samuari in the 36th minute after Yuto Nagatomo overlapping cross from the left flank finds him and buries the ball perfcetly to make score 1-1 apiece.
Honda's 20 meters shot parried away.
Glorious chance for Maeda to increase the tally but his shot ballooned into the air
